Payphone (Cover)

Hey, Humans! Happy June :) I like June a lot. Mainly because it starts with a J and July starts with a J too and I feel like they're sisters. Also because the name feels sunny :)

So, we just had a sleepover with them Shelvin, Joyanne, Ashley, Dhipa and Raja (through Skype) and it was epic! I'll blog about it as soon as I upload the photos :)

We did a cover of Payphone - Maroon 5 feat. Wiz Khalifa during the second day. It was spontaneous. We downloaded the lyrics online, stuck it to Ashley's skinny legs and just sang. So of course, I forgot the lyrics halfway. :P Of course there were some pitch problems by me too. I don't know why. I just can't sing the chorus properly cause it goes high suddenly and I'm like, low. <--?

Anyway, we had fun singing it. Although Shelvin and Dhipa kept giggling at Kuha who was on the computer. And we had to retake (It was always when I was on pitch) many times because of that... But hey, it was okay. I'm only the one who messes up the lyrics. Silly me .

I've realized I'm not posting anymore stories. I haven't written one for ages. Now, its all just music music music. I'm disappointed in myself. I should write more. I've been collecting ideas, but no plots. Even if I start, I know it'll end up unfinished because I can't get a good plot out of it. I've also been reading lots of material. Let's just hope something comes out from it :P

I have a feeling our next cover, we'll be in uniform. #JustMyPrediction

Mum says I should study more now, since its the holidays and I'm like: Seriously?

Malam Bakat 2012

If you've read my post Bliss, you know Malam Bakat this year was epic :D It really was. So, I'm gonna blog in detail what happened. :) I'm a month late. Sorry.

We started at my house. Mum made us up and did some last minute wardrobe changes. :D I love her!

Then we went to SJK(C) Serdang Baru 2, my primary school. The event is held there because it has a big stage. I love that school.

I cannot explain the feeling of being on stage. I just forget myself and instinct takes over. Tambourine ribbon gets in your eyes? Throw it away. See the Principal sitting in front of you? Scream out his name. Hear the screams of support from your friends? Point at their direction and smile at them. Hears Joyanne's mike is too soft? Sing LOUDER!

I just wanna go onstage and sing, sing, sing again!

Kem Komsas! Translated directly, its Literature Camp. Sounds boring right? It was NOT. It was crazy, as usual.

I was alone during the one-day-camp cause my (so-called) friends. Said the camp sounded boring, so the didn't go. So.. I was left with Raja.... :) Never mind.

I won't talk much, cause too damn many photos. So I let the photos do the talking yeah?

We were forced to exercise. Serious. Led by our school athletes! 

It was funny.

After the workout. We were supposed to stroll around Taman Botani Putrajaya (Putrajaya Botany Garden) and search for inspiration for sajak (malay poems) which we were supposed to produce. Umm. Poetry, I'm good at. But not Malay Poetry. I suck. And we were supposed to find 15 scientific names of plants. 

Taman Botani is actually a very beautiful place. It has fresh air and big lake filled with fishes that eat anything. We had a crazy time there. I'm gonna show you some pictures that probably make no sense to you, but it was funny. I don't have time to explain everything so briefly I will try to show you how crazy we are but I know some pictures are beyond my powers of explaining. :) 

It starts from the Lake Side. Then we went poetry writing. Then we presented the poetry. Then we went off to rehearse our drama. Then we escaped the teachers and went cycling. Then we presented the drama. Then it was prize-giving. Then it ended. Okay? Just look at the pictures. Sorry.

Rehearsals for Drama and Free time!

Our Drama was Gelanggang Tuk Wali. Its about... Well, killing, violins and silat (a malay martial arts). Super suspense and stuff. Firdaus made is so hilarious! 

Ninja!

After we finished making the props, we ditched the teachers and went cycling! There seems to be no pictures, but I can tell you, it was fun. And, Natasha fell off her bike and gave back some skin to Mother Earth. Besides that, nothing tragic happened. 

We cycled pass this beautiful clearing that opened up to the waterfall of the dam. It was so beautiful. The sun, the green grass, the smell of moving water, the roar of the waterfall... 

The figure of YOUTH! :)

Finally, after some drama with Natasha's fall from the bike, we started presenting our own Dramas:

We won, by the way. Our drama won because we were the most well-dressed and well rehearsed and funny and co-operative. :) I'm proud.

We got second place for the Sajak presentation. And first place for Drama. Plus, I got Pelajar Yang Berbakat dan Berpotensi (?) (Talented and With Potential Student). Most of our group members got it.

Well, that's that. I will smile everytime I think of this Silly Kem Komsas. :)
